Moby doubles down on Trump’s Russia ties
Renowned DJ Moby is spinning a bizarre tale about President Trump.
The activist artist, in an interview with Lousiville, Ky. radio station WFPK-FM, insisted CIA agents past and present told him how they were “truly concerned” about President Trump’s deep ties to Russia.
“They were like, ‘This is ‘The Manchurian Candidate,’ like (Vladimir Putin) has a Russian agent as the president of the United States,” he said, referring to the movie about a murderous government mole.
“So they passed on some information to me and they said, like, ‘Look you have more of a social media following than any of us do, can you please post some of these things … sort of put it out there?’” recounted Moby, who boasts 1.35 million Twitter followers.
In February 2017, shortly after the Trump inauguration, Moby posted on social media that the Russian government was “blackmailing” the new chief executive.
He’s now doubling down on his claim, suggesting things will get worse during year two of the Trump Administration.
“It’s really disturbing and it’s going to get a lot darker,” he said. “Like the depths of the Trump family in business and their involvement with organized crime, sponsored terrorism.
“I guess we should all, like, fasten our seat belts and hold on.”
